Battle of the Books Members Hear Acclaimed Author John Schu Speak

On May 21, middle school Battle of the Books (BoB) members had the opportunity to hear acclaimed author, John Schu, speak at Holland Patent Middle School. Schu wrote Louder Than Hunger, a book included in this year's BoB competition, in verse about his own childhood experiences. Schu spoke vividly and inspirationally and spent time signing books and chatting with each student after his presentation. The club will remember this incredible experience for years to come!
